Michael is responsible for heading the Group’s Alternative Investment coverage in Asia, spanning private equity, real estate, special situations, structured finance, public investing and distribution. He joined Sheffield Haworth in 2010, having previously spent 9 years at Global Sage in Hong Kong. Michael has been ranked in the top three search consultants in Asia for the buy-side and was most recently ranked as the region’s number one search consultant in private equity and real estate.

Michael began his career as a journalist, covering Asia for Bloomberg, Business Week and United Press International. Previously, he was co-founder and Executive Director of connectivity company, I-Quest Holdings. Michael graduated with honours from the University of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and International Affairs.
