Bruce joined Sheffield Haworth in 2010 as Managing Director and Head of Japan. A long-term Japan resident, Bruce has over 20 years experience in the Japanese and Asian financial markets. He brings with him a wealth of local knowledge and specific expertise in consistently providing high quality solutions in this sometimes difficult recruitment environment.

For many years he ran his own specialist practice, Bruce Baker & Co., which in 2006 was voted the best overall financial recruitment firm in Japan (2006 Asia Money Poll of Japan search consultants). Bruce himself has been ranked the overall best individual search consultant in Japan as well as, on various occasions, the leader in the following categories: investment banking, corporate finance, M&A, ECM, buy side, hedge funds, private equity, private banking, cash equities and derivatives and structured products.

Most recently Bruce was a Senior Consultant with Russell Reynolds Associates in Japan. Bruce is a graduate of The City University, London and holds a BSc in Psychology.
