Matthew joined Sheffield Haworth in 2007 as a member of the Global Markets team to focus on the continuing development of the London practice, and in particular the equities derivatives sector. Prior to joining Sheffield Haworth, Matthew worked for 9 years in the financial markets for Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and OM Technology’s joint venture ‘Jiway Exchange’ in London followed by 3 years in Hong Kong advising high net worth individuals in finance.  During this time he gained a good knowledge and understanding of the financial markets and has a firm track record of building strong, long-lasting client relationships.

Matthew graduated from the University of Manchester, UK, with a BA in Economics.
